The King of Spain has been officially adopted as ISB’s Alumni Center.

Le Roy d’Espagne has received the recognition it so richly deserves. As the newly minted Alumni Center for the International School of Brussels, rumors about the venerable site’s possible use as an ISB extension campus can finally be put to rest.
The recent formal dedication ceremony was attended by a who’s-who of Belgian citizenry including: King Philippe, cyclist Eddy Merckx, Ursula von der Leyen, EPP–DE, President of the European Commission, as well as a Tin Tin lookalike. However, once the Mayor of Brussels, Philippe Close, made his proclamation and photo ops atop the horse were concluded, it was out to the terrasse where the assembled throng enjoyed the reuniting of Grand Jojo for a rousing rendition of their mega-hit and official ISB alumni anthem On a Soif.
News quickly spread throughout the alumni community. Glasses raised around the world in celebration. The overall consensus seems to be, “It’s about time!”
Alumni dressed in ISB swag will be given a 20% discount on their purchases. Alumni still able to fit into their letter jackets or uniforms will enjoy 50% savings. It should also be noted that Madame Pi-Pi service charges are heretofore waived for all alumni business matters.
