Who Are We?

What is it about this experience we all share?

This Fellowship of the Frites runs deep within us. Our bond began the moment we stepped foot in Belgium and started to navigate our unique existence. Students, parents, and staff alike all share the gift we were given.

As ISBers, it’s difficult to separate our school experience from our greater Belgian experience. Hopping off the bus in front of the chateau resonates as much as riding the 44 tram through the woods to Tervuren.

This website strives to honor our past. Hopefully, we can look back with a sense of nostalgia, pride, and gratitude. It is by no means an anthology of our youth but, perhaps, certain images or articles trigger that sweet spot of reflection enabling us to slow down and smile at people and place that helped shape us.
